BORO · Earrings Gold Blow glass

Gold 750

Borosilicate glass

Length: 35 mm

This jewellery is designed and handcrafted by Helena Nieto who has collaborated with Diego Rodriguez, a master glassblower at the Royal Glass Factory (La Granja, Spain) celebrating excellence in craftsmanship.

Two pieces of transparent blown glass with a subtle metallic pink tint, achieved using the fuming technique, in which gold dust is sprayed onto the hot glass, causing it to become embedded in the glass.

These earrings combine tradicional goldsmith and glass blowing techniques in a contemporary way—
